Wilbur Thomas Cranney’s wife Rosene Munk died in 1919. In 1920, Wilbur was called as the Bishop of the Marion ward from 1920 to 1925 with Edward Warr and Parley Lambert Tolman as his counselors. He married Louisa Hancock Tolman in 1923 and she become an instant mother of 9 children. She had lived in the ward with her parents, Joshua Alvin Tolman and Mary Jane Gorringe. They lived and farmed in several different areas of the Marion and Island area. This is the approximate location of their home. View the 1920 U.S. Census record with only Wilber and the children due to Rosene’s death the previous year and Wilber and Louisa in the 1930 U.S. Census record.
