William Alvin and Hattie Naomi Tolman and their family moved to their third home where Bernice (1920) and Hattie (1923) were born. This home was called the Hale Place because it was on Albert Hale’s property. This home had three large rooms on the main floor with two large rooms and a sleeping porch upstairs. Alma writes in his life story that this home was about a quarter mile from the grade school. (Homes of Alma Jaren Tolman and Myrtle Harriet Priest in Idaho by Ruth Ann Tolman Baker, page 5.)
